FANE Crescendo 122326

I got my Crescendo's back and installed them in my SE4122 today. The soldering was difficult as the magnets are so powerful that I had difficulties operating the soldering iron. The magnets really are massive, but I managed to do it.
The guy who fixed them really did a great job. No buzzing, no weird noises, etc.
They sound great! I really really like the bass response. The sound is HUGE. No wonder Gilmour liked them. However, I was blasting out some WHO riffs and liked the crunch these developed as I turned the DR103 up. Niceee. These speakers have a voice of their own but still sound like a Fane.
(If my old Dynacord tape echo wouldn't be in for service, I'd probably be writing this a couple hours later)
So that's good news, isn't it?
Yeah ... but now it will be really difficult for me to decide which quad to keep as I can't really justify having two 4x12's and don't even need them. We'll see. I'll leave the Crescendo's in the cab for now.
