Might snatch this up for my WEM 4x12 replica
Few questions though, how close is it to a crescendo, and how well will it do GIlmour tones?
thanks,
Phil

First things first, there were no 25 watt HIWATT Fanes after the first run of 4x12's. Power handling was increased to 50 or 75 watts long before that one was produced.

All the right numbers - one of the classic Hiwatt Fane guitar speakers. Would be nice to see more than just the magnet cover to determine actual condition

.
Can't compare it to a Crescendo, as I've never had the pleasure of playing through the latter.

the seller describes the right numbers, but doesn't show them in a photo. Fane #122231 did not come with aluminum dust caps............so something is going on there.
I had been waiting on pics for a couple of days, he finally added some, of some other speaker, besides a HIWATT.

Right you are. The seller has put his integrity in question by describing "...and in working order !", but showing dented dustcaps and torn (and glued) cones.
Strike One.
If the aluminum dust cap pics ARE of the Hiwatt Fanes, then they are not "ORIGINAL".
Strike Two?
