BIACROWN 4X12 CAB ,HOW MUCH ?

Someone wants to sell me a Biacrown 4X12 cab in very good condition.
Problem is that the original speakers were replaced with sone reissue Fanes 4 years ago
and one of them is tosted .He's asking $850 and I think it's too much!

Any opinions?

If you're looking for the "true" Hiwatt experience, I'd suggest saving that money for when the real thing comes along.

I just saw another Biacrown cab for sale in very good condition with the original Fanes.
The dust caps are black ,I have a late Hylight cab with the light grey dust cap with the
nylon kind of grill , were these 1983 Fanes with black dust cap different than the
ones I have or they are the same with a difference in color ?

Not sure. Do you have speaker and cone codes for those?

without pics in front of me I can't say for certain, but I am pretty confident that they are very different speakers.

I'll try to get more info but sometimes,sellers dont like to open things up
and go futher ,they just say a Fane is Fane !
