Rumor has it that new product prototypes have arrived in Hiwatt Valley. Similar models could be coming soon to a neighborhood near you ;) !

my fluorescent flood lights make them look pink.........
I need better lighting!

It is headed to the Huss Institute of HIWATTology for some clips by the Professor Riffmeister.

I am so excited about these, it is really difficult to remain quiet! I have a "few" 4x12's with most of the HIWATT Fane models in cast and stamped frames, as well as VP's and FC12's and this cab is more than worthy.

Perhaps we should change your forum name to Dr.Understatement  ???

I, too, am excited about the DR-F's and cabs, but don't want to over-hype anything. I'm confident the products will speak for themselves. Looking forward to the Professor's clips!

Awesome!
I miss it already! That cab and the excitement surrounding it has done more for my playing than anything I can remember. It motivated me to go down to the Hylight Bar and Grill and fire up some HIWATTs!

Wrestling it down to the la-bor-atory was a bit of a trick (the cab is 110 lb / 50 kg and the staircase has a 90 degree bend in the middle) but I got it down there without any major bumps or bruises. Apparently the Good Lady Wife heard it coming (bump, bump, Bump, Bump, BUMP, BUMP) when the UPS guy brought it, so at least we know the speakers got a good shock test. :x

The GLW is working until 6 tonight, so I'll have a chance to crank it with impunity when I get home from work.

I've placed an order for (2) DR-F speakers. Still thinking about a 2x12 as well. Would you please confirm specs for the 2x12 (dimensions & weight)? Also, can you wire them for stereo & mono?

Thanks Bossco!
Both of our Speaker Enclosures share the same "footprint" 30" x 13.5" but the 2x12 is 20.25" tall.

The cabs have a single jack just like the original Hylights.
