Thanks Mark - I have that book and will pull it out and take another look. The only concern I have putting it there is the level is considerably lower than the phase inverter input, but perhaps the Blencowe book will have a circuit taking that into account.

Thanks for the advice - I was able to re-use all the hardware. I drilled the inner-diameter 4 standard mount holes on one of the old frames to use as a template to drill the baffle - using the original mounting pattern as an anchor to keep the speaker centered. It turned out great!

I'm trying to mount standard stamped frame speakers into a 1994 Audio Bros. 4123 cab that had cast frame Fane speakers with the larger mounting diameter 4 mounting hole pattern. Does anyone have a more elegant solution than removing the baffle and re-drilling for the smaller mounting diameter?
