Great Booster/OD for Hiwatt with Clips

The "Fetto Nord" came to life when a friend of mine (Hiwatt owner) had tried most of the Bootheek dirt pedals out there without finding a single one that kept his basic Hiwatt tone uncoloured. I stopped by his house yesterday and tried the pedal+amp out, and it sounds gorgeous! Listen to h...

Re: Tonesucking pedals

When you meet him MR Himmelstrutz is a n "ordinary guy" with nothing crazy about him, but when you watch his videos (there was quite a few of them on the old site) he comes across as something else! I remember one video where he showed how to change the battery in a Fetto , wearing a ridin...

Re: White knobs/rear panel selectors

The serial number has 4 didgits, the first two being 27XX.
It´s supposed to be a 1972 100W head.

Fane/sound

How would you describe the sound of Fane spearkers compared to, lets say: Celestion V30s? (I´m using the V30´s as an example as most people are familiar with their sound) I´m using Celestion Cenurys (Neo magnets) together with an amp similar to a Hiwatt and it´s hard to get a warm sound out of them....

Re: Tonesucking pedals

A friend of mine went thru at least 40 ODs when looking for the perfect match to his Hiwatt.
He ended up co designing this in collaboration with Mr Himmelstrutz himself: http://www.himmelstrutz.com/fnord.htm

Remember to run it on 12V!
