I just realized the convention weekend is the weekend before the 4th of July -- I might have to stay home and do fireworks instead.
The weekend before and after the 4th are usually pretty busy...and the only time all year I get to light the "big-uns."

just bring the 'works to clayton's--if the hiwatts don't get the police called for noise, i highly doubt some measely fireworks will.
that does suck though-

Bring out your expolsive ordinance and blow it up out here!
We can always go over to my parents place on the lake as they have a much more open site and fire them off over the water!!!
It just won't be the same without Prof. Huss!

It's not *just* fun. I shoot pro shows for a semi-local family-owned outfit. It's kind of like being in a band and not showing up for the gig (when the gig is only 2-3x a year!) Actually it is a lot like being in a band, a lot of set up, a little fun, then a lot of tear down after the show:

I'd surely hate to break my convention streak, but I'll have to see what I can do.

Bummer indeed - hope it works out. Worst case, maybe we could rig up a video conference with the Professor.

We may have to give Professor Huss the VIP treatment and hire a Gulfstream to shuttle him back and forth.
Or get going on that cloning project.

From the pyrotechnics training video?
I don't think they sell those at the reservation.
