"Vintage" JJ's ???

Post by OldSchoolDave »

I've been scouting the 'bay for NOS tubes off and on and had to chuckle when I saw this listing:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Matched ... 2315e463a4

Silly me! I hadn't realized JJ tubes had been around long enough to be "Vintage" ;) .

No affiliation with the seller and no particular beef with JJ tubes. It's just amazing to see how the term "Vintage" gets thrown around. Gotta be next to "Rare" as the most overused hyperbole.

Oh, and points to the seller for putting them into white boxes, so they don't get confused for "Modern" JJ's :( .

...Hey! I played that song when it was new...
