The pic is a few weeks old.
They have both been soaked and tested. Thoroughly knocked around and proven worthy of HI-TONE Badges.
The head just shipped out to a Studio in Wisconsin. We will post updates about its users and performances as we get them. It is safe to say that it will have a very busy next couple of months!
Is this amp voiced so much towards JP that it would be way off with regard to Gilmour tones. Are there Gilmourish component changes that could be made to move if back towards DG if this is the case?
People on the Gilmour web site are always looking for small amps for Gilmour, and the Laney Cub seems to get the vote, but it would be nice to point them in the Hitone direction guys esp with the 15watt switch.
Cheers
I have no trouble getting Gilmour tones with my 307 using an old school Rat or a Big Muff Rams Head Clone. Using the term versatile is almost selling this thing short.....

My Hi-Tone (DR504) is simply the most incredible amp I have ever owned or played through, and like several here, there have been more than I could try to name.
Originally I was set to go the 307 route with Mark "Gilmouring" it out for me. I knew I would hate me-self if I didn't go for the 50. That all being said, this is next on my list.
Terribly sexy little amp!
Same sig block applies here as the Gilmour one...

Individual tone and settings may apply, that said..."Shine On You Crazy Cowbell" - Dave
