FS: 1980 2 input DR 504

Post by finman76 »

I'm considering selling my DR504. It has the original Partridge Transformers and looks like it is in excellent condition. I'm not playing much these days and so I'm thinking about getting something different. I don't know what it's worth exactly, but I think maybe $1500? Let me know if anyone is interested. I'm in the Nashville, TN area. Thanks!

You may be asking too much if it is a later 1980 amp with PC boards.
the lack of good pics is hurting your efforts too.

The "standard" for photos is as follows:
front view in cab
rear view in cab
front view outside of cab
rear view outside of cab
Top shots of each transformer clearly showing the model # and date codes
overall "gut shots" back to front and front to back (set the amp on its transformers for this and get the entire amp in the screen. This is taken straight on. No artistic angles that give the impression you are trying to hide something.)

even better is to add internal pics of the upper left quadrant, upper right quad, lower right quad and lower left quad.

Let the amp (via pics) sell itself.

Good Luck!

Thanks Dr. Hiwatt. Here are the pictures i currently have. The only cosmetic problem with this amp is that it's missing the back cover.

Looks pretty much identical to my 1980 PCB model (Canadian import DR504), except the case is in slightly better shape.
These are great little amps!
You can almost feel the current flowing
You can almost see the circuits blowing
