Hi everybody,
I'm a studio player and I've got a 1974 Hiwatt DR103 that I would like to pair with the right cab to record..but it seems impossible to score a vintage cab here in Italy..
So I've found an Hiwatt SE4123 with Fanes from '90.. what do you guys think about this cab?
It's a good replica of the older ones or not?
Thanks
Foster
SE4123 with Fanes from '90, is it ok or not?

Welcome to the Vintage HIWATT forum.
If you like the sound you are getting with the 1990's cab, then that is great.
Is it very similar to a real Hylight era cab.......not very.

I never had the opportunity to try an original old cab..nobody have one close to where I live...Dr.HIWATT wrote:Welcome to the Vintage HIWATT forum.

But from your words I understand that the 1990 cab doesn't sound close to the real deal, am I right?
