Fane Crescendo (unknown model No.)

Post by Lemmy »

Hello everyone!
This is my first post although I've been silently observing for a little while.

Recently I bought this vintage Fane Crescendo speaker so I was wondering if any of you guys might know something more about it.
As you can see on the pictures the label is missing.
On the magnet there is a sticker "The Crescendo M.V.". I don't know what M.V. stands for.
On the frame there is a barely visible stamp (hardly visible on the pictures): 122437
Does anybody know anything about this particular model (power, gauss, purpose atc)?
The speaker impedance is 8Ohm and the cone is stamped 017 001.
There is the date stamp, not 100% sure but it looks like 50/73 or 50/75.
It has the Aluminum dust cap.
I didn't have time to test it yet.
The previous owner told me it was taken out of a Melodija cabinet (crappy company from a crappy country)
Any kind of info on this particular speaker would be greatly appreciated.
