I am sure that most of you reading this have already spotted the replaced power transformer (and a poorly done job of it), but the preamp board has been off too, which makes you ask "why?"
No one loves these early 3 digit amps more than me, but this poor old thing is priced at least double what it should be.

I saw the tranny but I was wondering where the bulgin input was. At least where is the hole? 3300 good opening bid. Whoa.

A lot of those early ones did not have a bulgin mains plug. Just a hardwired cable. That is one of the few "non issues".

Plenty of recently touched solder joints, eh? And bent up leads.
I'm sure *someone* we know could put that one back properly . But, as you say, not in that ballpark!

I love "road warriors" but not at mint condition, premium prices.........with original and barely used Mullard valves, I might add.
