Suggestion box?
Anyone have any great ideas for this forum / site? If so, post them here.

hmmm... maybe a spot where we can see all the topics in all the categories in one list? Broken up into the different categories is great but I don't want to miss reading a cool topic just because it's in the "Sterling imports" section.
...and coffee. Coffee would be nice. And some of those cute pink cookies that have the waffle print and the cream inside... Sugar wafers I think they're called. Let's get some of those.

Understood, but it's not in the default template of the forum software. What *should* be helpful is that sections with new posts will be colored in on your next visit, while those without new posts will remain white/clear.mm wrote:hmmm... maybe a spot where we can see all the topics in all the categories in one list? Excellent thought. We can work on the virtual coffee/sugar wafers here. For the real thing, you will have to attend next year's VintageHiwattConvention !mm wrote:...and coffee. Coffee would be nice. I usually click "view posts since last visit".mm wrote:I don't want to miss reading a cool topic just because it's in the "Sterling imports" section.
Sadly, though, I'm too often greeted with "No topics or posts met your search criteria".
Dave, is it possible to add a cool HIWATT icon to the site? I've just got that boring default internet explorer "e" in my favorites bookmark...

I decided I was definitely going to that convention when I first read about it. Let's face it, the more hiwatts the better. If you all ever decide to have it in New York, I'll bring home baked cookies!
I'll give the 'check new posts' thing a try. I never thought of that... that's like, efficient... strange to me... against my nature... trying to resist...

O.K., so you bake the cookies. When the convention is in New York, I'll bake the cookies. As far as plmbing... I'm not sure if I believe you. I'll bring an out house just in case... It's a long drive.

Security wasn't bad, I checked the head and guitar (in flight cases). But I still had to drag them around a bit. Plus US Airways dinged me $50 for overweight for the head on the trip home.
Next year I'll probably have a 4x12 cab to cart along, so that spells R-O-A-D-T-R-I-P.

Yea, we have indoor plumbing, but who needs it?
Heck I went water skiing today, with NO wetsuit! It was 30 degrees with the windchill in the teens! It is the annual Arctic Open!
Thank God for testosterone and Hot Chocolate with peppermint schnaps!
Dr.HIWATT and Mr.Fane, I think I froze my brain
He only comes out when I drink my Gin!
(I really don't like gin)
