Re: New amp day
Thanks for the recommendation!
Re: New amp day
Would I be right in saying that I need a 3A fuse for the HT and a 5A fuse for the Mains?
Both of which are fast blow fuses?

Re: New amp day
What would be involved in installing a presence control to this amp?
Comparing the STA200 schematic with the DR103 around the V3/V4 area, lends itself to believe that I could break out from Pin 6 on V3, connect a 1n to a 100k linear pot, to a 100n out to the 100n capacitor coming from Pin 7 of V4?
Could anyone illustrate where I would need to make the actual connections using the photos I've included, and this one?

Sorry Phil I didn't know you were struggling. Audiocap is the place as the good Dr says. I need one for the Biacrown.

Yep, as long as you're on 240vac mains.Philrob1 wrote:Would I be right in saying that I need a 3A fuse for the HT and a 5A fuse for the Mains?

Re: New amp day
Bit of an update
I took the amp to Tim @ Chandlers Guitar Experience in South West London. He diagnosed the fault as a dodgy mains switch, so he changed it and the amp fired into life. He also installed a Prescence control for me that is controlled from a pot on the back. Having that there is fantastic I must say, as I am running 2 different speakers off 2 different power sections off a single Preamp.
One of the valves was blown, so the amp was biased for 100W - I believe the output is nearer to 110W so the valves are healthy indeed.
Recapped with the DR201 kit this weekend and the difference is huge! Fantastic results - very pleased overall.
Thanks for all your help folks
