Think you're right! Mental note: cab serial numbers 8000 thru 8031 (at least) may be candidates for the "magic" model.

Anybody got 4 grand burning a hole in their pocket?

I actually, but it says local pickup only. And getting the cabs to Belgium might be too much.
Also, there is the wife...
I might not survive it.

It'd be about a 3 1/2 hour drive for me - but, I'm spending all my money on Sound Reinforcement gear these days :( .

indeed, they should be 125161 Fanes.
If I recall correctly, my cab is 8031?
They are fantastic sounding cabs.

That's the one I pulled from mark's registry as the highest known serial number containing those Fanes.

Agreed!

I think my stripped-and-stained-orange 4x12 has an early 8000 serial number. Next time I'm opening flight cases, I'll verify. It and my pair of 125161's came from the same seller, so....

Same set for $3600 here:

And that's an asking price, so with some negotiating he might knock off another 10% or so. Tempting...

Who'd be interested in the two-hole DR103? No use shipping that across the pond: they aren't that hard to find over here.
