Not bad. It has had a power tube socket replaced. definitely not "All Original". The seller was working me hard for months to buy it but it is grossly overpriced. $2200 for the head + $1700 for the Cab doesn't equal $5500.

Even at crazy "ebay Idiot" pricing $2500 for the head and $2000 for the cab.......the math doesn't work.

No kidding Mike!

I felt like he smelled blood in the water!

I did Foolishly give WAY Too much for an amp from a friend of his, so he already had me labelled as a big spender.

It is overpriced, definitely. But I don't recall seeing any in that good condition cosmetically in quite some time.

My good friend Dr.Hiwatt found me a squeaky clean DR504 about a year ago. Had it shipped in from Switzerland.

Clean ones are out there, but they can take some time to locate. I agree that the seller of that half stack is on a fishing expedition.

Does Mrs. OldSchool know you've been using her nice leather couch as a HIWATT showcase?

Actually, those were pics provided by the seller (and featured his nice leather couch).

Our couches are dark brown. Better for hiding Hiwatt foot smudges (what Mrs. OldSchool doesn't know...) :) .

Yeah, but he's hitting nothing but foul balls.

Well, I imagine that wouldn't be all that difficult, now that you mention it.

And if you ever look at me that way again....!!
