A bit pricey ask, I wonder what the bids are up to?

Doc, that's your year!

Doc may be selling some 73 and 74 HIWATTs to keep Uncle Sam off his back. The good news is that it should be the last of Star's nasty little surprises.................... :x

For some reason I'm picturing the Michelin Man caressing each tire and shedding a little tear as it leaves the production line... while "Never Wanna Let You Go" plays in the background.

Hello!

I'm new to this board; I've been watching Hiwatts for a while and I thought I'd post because I'm kind of interested in the first head (the third looks really nice, but my gut feeling is that the bids will blow up). It looks like it's had some work and I guess I'm not certain what is acceptable and what should be avoided... Any input would be much appreciated! I'm looking for a player and not something to collect or restore, so the guidance of those with expertise would be much appreciated. Or, if anyone is selling a 100 watt (aesthetic condition unimportant, within reason), please do let me know!

Thanks!
