Head cab size- early 67-68

I have been staring at photos of non-master vol DR103s for the last few days, and using my recollection of the one I had.

It's a given that ones made 1969-70 onwards are 11" (?) high, 25" wide and 10 1/2 " deep.

However looking at a nmv '103 with a slightly later head above it, it's cabinet looks different on three fronts:

1) The edge radius is way smaller than later.
2) The whole cabinet seems marginally smaller in width and height. (but only by say 1/2 ")
3) The wood thickness looks thinner (12-15mm?) than the 18mm of later cabinets.

Any help appreciated to get the clone right.
