Matching quad of original Fane speakers that I may sell

Hi VHC,

I have 16 original Fane speakers and 4 cabs, but don't need them all since they are rarely all used by me at the same time. I'm considering selling one of the matching quads which are Fane model #122142 and 17,000 gauss all dated 24/73, i.e. week 24 of 1973. All four cones also match with the code 1021/15. There are no re-cones among these and they sound awesome. One of the cones had a small 1/4" blemish near the rim that was rubber cement glued and epoxy reinforced to prevent further tearing. The original cab's grillcloth had been punctured at the spot that matched up with the speaker blemish. Fortunately, the damage was minimal and doesn't seem to affect the sound. I'm selling this quad since my other quad of the same model 122142 speakers have the original solder joints intact and I rather not disturb them.

If sold, I hope these speakers are able to find another old Hiwatt cab needing original speakers. I'd like to keep my cab but may entertain offers.

I'm not sure of the speakers' value as they are rarely seen for sale. Asking $1,200 + shipping for the quad to start out. I don't have pictures with me at the moment, but they will be available upon request. PM if interested. I'm located in the USA.
