An astute reader has pointed out a couple of duplicated serial numbers (2002 and 2758) in the amp and cab pages of the Hiwatt registry.
- Two typo/mistakes during registry entry?
- Inadvertent duplication at the factory/garage?
- Were the amp and serial number mutually exclusive? We know the "serial number to dates" relation is very different for the two.
Please discuss among yourselves...

Re: Amp and Cab Serial Numbers
AFAIK, there are two series.
Amplifiers and Speaker Enclosures.
This sounds like a good question for BC!

Re: Amp and Cab Serial Numbers
confirmed two series of numbers, one for amps one for speaker enclosures.
Re: Amp and Cab Serial Numbers
I have a LOT-LOT of stutter ... of faith in your opinions, but in the interest of "open and frank" discussion, on what basis are you able to confirm this? It's worth putting the evidence out there. You can write it into that Hiwatt Handbook to be released some day. .... not complaining, but it would be a good entry.confirmed two series of numbers, one for amps one for speaker enclosures
cheers ... john

no opinions.
tracking down former Hylight Electronics employees and verifying what Mark's registry suggests.
I have always been completely forthcoming and open with info.
