Any updates on the 142's?
Or is Emenence forcing them only to be sold in cabinets too?
I wish I could find something like them in the 50-75 watt range....
My loudest amp I normally use is only 50 watts... and more often, I use the 30 watter.
150 watts per speaker is way overkill for me, but I do understand why some people want them.

All the speakers we source from Eminence must be sold in cabinets, sorry.
We're finding, as we gain speaker experience, that some speaker specs are "side effects" as opposed to designed-in. In this case, the larger voice coil just worked better for what we were after, we were not planning to make such a high powered speaker.
There's a third speaker experiment currently undergoing super secret testing in Hiwatt Valley that is showing more promise than the #2 prototypes.
