Metal Mayhem is just a goofy name I used to describe Mark's heavy crazy and incredibly loud bit. The amp is my 1970 ex Soft Machine DR103 with the Normal Vol and Master Volume maxed, and the Brill Volume at 2:00. Very, Very LOUD!
The prototypes are very Fane-ish but aren't a 122142 or 122231 clone. They are actually like the hybrid offspring of the two legendary HIWATT fanes.
I love them!!!!
