I took these to the Nashville Music Gear Expo and they got rave reviews.
I'd say that they are very close to becoming a reality.

I heard several very good players and one hack (referring to myself ) playing through the new prototypes. Everyone loved them - even those of us who are perfectly happy with our HI-TONE DR-F's.
They have subdued highs and a gutsier low mid that makes 'em a joy to crank. They took everything a 30 or 50 watt HI-TONE could throw at them and never got mushy. Sound good in combination with DR-F's, too. I'd love to have a cab with a mix of the two.
