Nice!

But, what's the matter? Wouldn't the T-top support a Hiwatt half stack ;) ?

I dont have a Hiwatt .....yet! This winter I will be building one. I am a recent convert, I've been dare I say a "Marshall" guy for a while, built a 18 watt and a Plexi (great amps), but looking for something different. I have an obsesion with Jimmy Page's sound at the Royal Albert Hall concert in 70 :D :D :D

You're not alone there!

Have fun with your build. Keep us posted on your progress.

I am building a 30/15 watt version right now. We are working up the kit. Then I am mating that preamp to a DR201 power section. First time I can remember looking forward to winter!

My name is Rob, and I'm doing my first Hiwatt build (DR103). I acquired a toasted "DR-1" pcb several years ago with most of the original Iskras/Pihers & some of the Mullards still intact, and just recently scored an empty head to build it all in. Thanks to the collective wisdom of this site - and Clayton for the rest of the components I needed - I should have my first 100 watt amp build done within the next few weeks (now I just need to get something to play it through!)

Ok, so now that the S.F. Giants have finally won the World Series (YAY!!!) I can get back to my DR103 build. Actually I've been working on it off and on: made the turret boards (took a little while to get the layout just right, drill the boards, press the turrets etc) and everything else is bolted to the chassis - time to fire up the old soldering iron!

Hello Hiwatt comrades and tone connoisseurs,

I have joined to mill around with the smart crowd in Hiwatts, learn a thing or two and embark on a VHR build of a Page Custom 100 version of the DR-103. I've emailed VHR and they will be a great resource to make this amp come to reality. Lots of generous Hiwatters here so I will not astray. High hopes.
