Yes they did!
No little sissy 2x12's here, these are full length and width x 20.25" high

Maybe its just the picture.....but the tolex on the 4 x 12 looks like Marshall and the 2 x 12 looks more like Hiwatt reproduction. Can you confirm?
Also, are you using the white cliff jacks on the speaker connections?

All of our cabs use Hylight style basket weave tolex, and white cliff jacks just like Hylights!

Must be the picture. Note how the tolex on the (vintage Hylight) Hiwatt head appears the same as the cabs from that angle.

30"L x 13"deep Just like a HYLIGHT 4x12.
No wimpy 2x12's here.

Ever consider making a 1x12 cab to the same width and depth of a 1x12 combo?

briefly, there aren't many 12' speakers that can handle a DR103 for very long, and and far less that sound exceptional doing it.
having said that, we never say never.........

A 1x12 would be good for the (really, any day now!) 30 watt kit VHR will be offering.
A 1x12 30w combo would be really sweet.

I was thinking more of a closed back extention cabinet for a 50 watt combo, making a nice mini-stack for smaller venues.
