I'm thinking of staying at that one, so perhaps it will become the "Official Hotel of the Official Rhythm Section of the Hiwatt Convention."

FWIW, the Courtyard did a good job last summer and was conveniently located. Except for the part about giving Hiwatt Bob the key to someone else's room  !!!

[waking up after sharing the same bed in the motel]
Neal: Del... Why did you kiss my ear?
Del: Why are you holding my hand?
Neal: [frowns] Where's your other hand?
Del: Between two pillows...
Neal: Those aren't pillows!

if everyone is going to be staying at either the Courtyard by Marriot or Days Inn, I will try to get a group discount at both of them.

Can I start getting a head count?

Thanks!!!

I'd prefer the Marriott if you can get a deal.

Without special discounts:
Days Inn $68
Courtyard Marriott $129

Getting tightass Chris to part with any green is always a problem, so the cheaper the better. I'll stay anywhere you can get a group discount, or I can split the cost of one of the bigger rooms with a group of guys. I don't plan on spending much time at the hotel anyway! I'm really looking forward to this years convention and seeing you guys again(and meeting new friends).

+1, The Courtyard was nice last year, I vote for that being the "official convention hotel."

I need a head count. I feel like I am playing poker with the hotels, when they ask how many rooms I will need.
