DIY - RIP

Post by mhuss »

At Dr. Hiwatt's request, I have moved the DIY section to limbo. The doc wants this forum to focus more on vintage Hiwatts, as the forum name suggests.

I'll miss reading new posts in the DIY section, too. I can appreciate that Dr. Hiwatt wants to focus on discussions about using, restoring and maintaining vintage Hiwatts, though, especially if VHR is now out of the kit business.

Speaking of kits, last week I finished the DR307 kit I received back in February. I was going to write a post about the build for the DIY section, but now let's just say it worked the first time and sounds fantastic! No problems with the build at all.

Thanks again to Dr. Hiwatt for packing up all the parts and thanks also to Mark for the layout drawings.
