How would you describe their sound? If not close enough to the 122142 how'd you characterize them?
Any chance they sound more like a 125161 ?

Hey, a guy can hope and dream can't he??

neither of these are extremely close to a 161.
These were both different attempts at the 142. They sound "Fane-like" but just didn't nail the sound of the 142. The cast frame version uses a Kurt Mueller cone (same as the tonker and VP) and unfortunately sounds more like a VP than a HIWATT Fane.

It is hard to remember exactly as these have been on the shelf for two years. but I moving and this stuff has to go.
