Ebay Scam Warning

Post by Dr.HI-TONE »

Rattikus Monkus is back at it. These are not HIWATT speakers.

These Fanes were originally Simms Watt speakers, thus the missing decals and replaced dust covers.

I'm surprised he's still using that ebay ID (past ones haven't lasted as long). At least he discloses the dust covers have been replaced :? ? That adhesive, as well as the doping on the surrounds, look very suspect.

FYI, I've dealt with that seller in person and would not do so again. I'd also give serious scrutiny to any vintage gear he might offer.
