I think at one point you mentioned the possibility of a certain English gentleman joining us? Is that still a possibility?

Hi Mike!

Welcome to the new forum! The short answer is possibly.

Hopefully with more preparation and lead time, we can get a great guest lined up!

if Bill Jansen from Reeves comes again next year, would it be possible to request him to bring some of his combos? i'm particularily interested in hearing the custom 6 & 12.

did he bring the 18 to the convention last year? or just the 30?

He did bring the 18.

If there is some clamor for a combo, surely he would try to bring one......?

is bill a member here? if not, let him know.

i myself, and i know others, want that hiwatt sound but in a smaller wattage package for playing at home without rattling the house to the foundation. if possible, i'd like to hear the head versions also.

...and after the ear-bleeding, tinnitus fest we had going last year--a break with small wattage amps might be well recieved. at least for an hour.

Perhaps only for an hour, indeed. It'll be good to hear the smaller amps, of course. But let's not forget the larger originals (though I know nobody is forgetting them).

small amps for an hour. then we can spend the rest of the time playing pedals through vintage hiwatts. sounds like a plan. :P

There is a reason I call it the Vintage HIWATT Convention. But I do like the Reeves Amps and they are much closer to "mil-spec" than the amps currently produced that use (and shame) the HIWATT name.

Perhaps Clayton needs to watch Oprah and Dr. Phil to learn how to open up and grow as a person....

Funny you should mention them. Oprah and Dr.Phil are the special guests. They are going to try to help me get a life.

My friends Smith & Wesson will be with me, then. I'll also ride in on a Colt!

I'd love to see some of their lovely forms (note intended irony) gracing some paper targets.
