Convention road trip "share a ride"

Post by Dr.HI-TONE »

I was thinking along the lines of a roommate finder function. Maybe some guys can make it if they share rides and split travel costs?

I know it could be weird.

But if the ground work is done early enough???

If you are interested post the following info:

Travelling from:

Driver or passenger:

smoker/non smoker:

Cool/pain in the arse:

amount of room needed for gear:

special needs:

Good idea! Plan those ride arrangements now!

A couple of years ago, Hiwatt Bob and I carpooled in the Mighty Terraza from Minneapolis to Hiwatt Valley. And, though our respective spouses were concerned about us traveling out of state with "some guy I met on the internet", neither one of us turned out to be a serial killer! Axe murderer, maybe ;) ...

It was great to have a copilot for the journey. I encourage everyone to explore the possibilities.

"Serial killer" is the least of the worries anyone has with folks they've met on the Internet here on the Hiwatt convention site! Geez! You guys make me laugh.... Wink.

Mike

PS Hey Dr. H., can some of us still meet up at the old "Hiwatt Valley" location for a little bit during the convention? Use private e-mail/messaging to respond if you like....
