BTW, do you know why Townsend doesn't play through Hiwatts anymore? Maybe he still does, but all the recent stuff I hear/see from him lately, it looks like Fender amps and guitars.

A quick update (if anyone is interested) I won this '77 DR103 Hiwatt two weeks ago and just picked it up yesterday. ... whoo-hoo! Of course, the first thing I did was turn it up. \m/ \m/ Not sure if my neighbors are very happy with me now. :roll: It sounds great. I'm working dialing in my tone.
