I want to say about an hour. The kits are a breeze compared to an amp. I've built three or four and the most complicated one I did took two hours.

Just saying.... this thing kicks in front of my VHR DR103. Really cool pedal with lots of different sounds in it. So far it's been my favorite to use. It's based off a Rat pedal, with more options. Never really liked it with any of my other amps. Dug it out of a box and it's been attached to this am...

Oh, I won't end up with it... unless they take pocket lint and buttons on trade. I still have to find the time to build my VHR 100w kit!

This is the closest I've been to an actual vintage Hiwatt for sale that I could try.... pretty cool!!!! I'll have to see if I can find a spare 8 hours soon...

I'm down in Milwaukee and got one of the guys at sonic speakers / northcoast music to cover it. I did the grill cloth though. I've been up to daves a few times..... It's a pretty amazing store.

99% sure that the cab used to be mine. I got it as a torn up project. Barely any tolex, spray painted green, with chicken wire for a grill. It did have the original fanes in 100% working order though. Really bass heavy cab. Could never get it to sound right with any of my amps... but then again I di...

If you want something between a slip cover and a road case, check out Tuki Covers. They're a padded foam canvas cover that protects well. Good for short tours where you're not throwing gear into a giant trailer. Also keeps people from setting their drinks on top of your nice head.
