Welcome, Nicolas! Probably better that way than being a professional musician and amateur physicist ;) .

Sounds like you have two very nice Hiwatt heads. Post pics in the Hylight Era Amp section and I'm sure the experts will provide advice.

regards,
Dave

Welcome raffau!

It looks as though you have a lot to work with there. When you first posted, I got the impression that your Sound City was a basket case. That should make a very good guitar amp. Please do keep us posted on your progress.

Anyone else in the LA area give me a holler. I'm always looking for a great amp tech, haven't had some of the best experience w/ some of the people around here locally. Nice to find someone who knows a hiwatt in and out.

Hi Wallosound,
Welcome!
Victor at the Plexi Palace is the only Guy in SoCal that I can think of off the top of my head.
Chris Merren in San Diego is really good too. Not too close though....
Nice Amps!

Hi guys!

I should have started posting here I realize but I guess I was too excited about logging into a Hiwatt forum...
My name is Franz. I love guitars and amps. Tube amps, that is! I'm very happy to have found this nice forum after looking up info about Hiwatts and stumbling upon Mark Huss's website. Congratulations to the founders and admins! :D

Cheers!

Franz

Hi,

Where to you live in Norway? I lived in Stavanger for a year while teaching there (1994-1995).
