Dear Doctor,
thank you for your continuing PSAs. They give folks like me who do not have your depth of Hiwatt knowledge/history a reason to be ever-watchful whilst trolling the 'bay.

The seller has pulled the auction and posted over at PP looking for help with the back(Ground) of this one..

Re: MG Fake-watt on the bay
I have helped him as much as I could.
The guy he bought it from knew it was a fake back in march 2008.
He (previous owner) was determined to get his money back and screw the next guy....The current owner seems like an "OK" guy, just unlucky.

Hmm.. In that case I think what the previous owner did will probably come back and bite him sometime..
Could still be an ok amp.. for a fake

Re: MG Fake-watt on the bay
it could be a decent player.
something like a "parts -o-caster" perhaps, possibly a good tool, but with little value as a HIWATT

He recently joined this forum, but hasn't posted yet. I feel bad for him.Dr.HIWATT wrote:The current owner seems like an "OK" guy, just unlucky.
The "I got screwed, so I have the right to screw the next person" thing just doesn't cut it . The knowing seller of that amp should be ashamed.

Thats the problem with "parts-o-instruments"Dr.HIWATT wrote:it could be a decent player.

It's a pity David Gilmour's Black Strat is a good tool but has little value as a Strat. Heh heh heh
