SA212R Question

Post by Casey78 »

Hey guys, quick question. What is the ohms load for the SA212R's? Mine is a 1976 and it has nothing on the back saying. The reason I ask is because I recently picked up a pair of purple back 125155 Fanes. They are 16ohms each. What would be the best way to install them in said SA212R?

Connect them in parallel.

The two leads coming out of the chassis of an SA212 are from the 8 ohm tap.

FYI, in order to facilitate future chassis renewal on my (former) SA212, I wired those leads to a Cliff Jack mounted on a fender washer in an unused power tube socket.

Cool amp you have! Not many Reverb models around.
